"I had shoulder surgery 3 years ago and unfortunately tore my shoulder again in 2017. I did not want to have surgery again and met with Dr. Kaufman for an initial consultation in October 2017. I was skeptical of laser treatments and their effectiveness, however, I left the consultation in tears of joy. I felt I finally found someone who could help me overcome the pain and weakness. Dr. Kaufman made sense. His plan to rehab my shoulder was solid. After 2 months of laser treatments and exercises, I felt GOOD. I hadn't felt GOOD in years. In fact, I felt so good, I wanted to get even stronger and have continued working with Dr. Kaufman to this day. He is awesome! I recommend that everyone, regardless of your injury/pain point, to see him before you do anything else. You won't regret it!"

"I first came to see Dr. Kaufman after I had injured myself during an obstacle course race. I had fallen, landing on my back, and was in really bad pain. I honestly wondered if I would be able to keep up with my activities because of the fall. It took several weeks of treatment, but between laser therapy and some slight manipulation, Dr. Kaufman had me back in race shape. It was during one of those visits that we had a conversation about Crohn’s Disease and how my symptoms had been flaring. After an in-depth discussion, he asked if I had tried a gluten free diet. He explained how simple it was to test it out, so I gave it a try. He also discussed how Micronutrient testing might benefit me, and I decided to have it done. A year later, I am still gluten free, I am incorporating the nutrients in which I showed a deficiency, and my symptoms have steadily decreased. My energy level is higher, and I am able to keep up with the activities I love. When I injured my rotator cuff a few months ago, I knew immediately that I needed to see Dr. Kaufman. Again, he has helped me recover from an injury I thought might keep me down. Showing me how to strengthen the area with small exercises, using laser therapy, taping my shoulder for proper healing, he does it all! Seeing how much he cares about his patients and their progress has made me a patient for life. Any time I have an issue, he finds a way to help me solve it. I have the utmost confidence in his abilities. He is professional, he respects your time, appointments are quick and meaningful, and he is extremely knowledgeable about how to heal the body. I am grateful to have found such a wonderful doctor who has helped me immensely!"

"Over the years we've had quite a few over-training injuries between us! From running to stay fit and training for triathlon at the age group World Championship level (Rick), we've put a lot of stress on our bodies. As a result we've had to rely on a number of sports therapists in our time and Dr Ken Kaufman is one of the best! Not only do his treatments work but it's like seeing three therapists at once.
He's able to apply a number of modalities such as chiropractic adjustments, ART and Laser therapy in a single treatment session. Besides being an efficient use of time, the key benefit is much faster recovery. We can't recommend him highly enough!"

"Recently, I visited Ireland specifically to climb Croagh Patrick, Ireland's Holy Mountain, located in Murrisk, County Mayo, about 5 miles from the city of Westport, Co. Mayo,Ireland. I did not know if I could make the climb but I wanted to do it for my 80th birthday. I know I needed training, effective training, proper training. I contacted Dr. Ken Kaufman. I had previous successful experience with Dr. Kaufman for a neck injury; also he was recommended to me by my surgeon, Dr. Scofield, who operated on both my shoulders. I signed up with Dr. Kaufman for a 10 week, 3 times a week program and treatment. It was arduous, difficult, but rewarding and successful. Consequently, I was in great physical shape, the best I have been in many, many years. I was able to complete the climb the day after my 80th birthday. I am so grateful to Dr. Kaufman and his daughter, Beth, who assisted. I could not have one it without their professional knowledge, help and direction."

"As an active sports enthusiast with five knee surgeries under my belt, I've seen my fair share of therapists, may of them very good. However, I would have to put Dr. Kaufman at the top of the list. After an MRI showed tears in both the labrum and rotator cuff and following the advice of my orthopedist, I chose therapy over surgery. Dr. Kaufman came highly recommended and after reviewing his credentials, I decided to do a few sessions of laser therapy, active stretching and Kinesio tape. I felt noticeable improvement in my pain after just a few sessions. I decided to extend my therapy with him and go through his active core exercise program. At first, I found it odd given we were not doing much direct shoulder work, but each week my shoulder got stronger and better. After 12 weeks of work with Dr. Kaufman, my shoulder feels stronger and functional as ever. As a sporting Clay's enthusiast, I was excited to get back out there after taking 12 weeks off. Taking the 28ga class in a local Fun Shoot on my first day back was just icing on the cake and my shoulder felt great. I could not have asked for better results. Ken accommodated my need for an early session, answered text messages while on his vacation and was always engaging - explaining exercises and areas of focus for the exercise. I highly recommend Dr. Kaufman for anyone seeking a qualified sports doctor and therapist."
